Can we truly connect to our Divine Creativity without Peace? There’s a lot of noise in this world, a lot of chatter and unnecessary thoughts, clutter and inflictions. It can be hard to find a moment for ourselves, let alone time to enjoy creative pursuits. But this is what you are encouraged to do today. Even if you are in the middle of a bustling office, an intense meeting or a crowded subway (or mall!) CHOOSE to find peacefulness. Choose to breath deeply, to disconnect from drama (that means putting down those ‘entertainment’ magazine for some of you), center yourself and look for calm. Even if you have screaming children to contend with, how does yelling help? You all become stressed and then creativity becomes the furthest thing from your mind (and even if you ‘escape into your art’ after an explosive moment like that, it’ll take longer to achieve your desired result). Yes, there is a time for action, for driven growth. But not today. Today, try your best to be a beacon of peacefulness, even if just for a minute.

The card drawn for Thursday is Trust.

I did want to mention that while shuffling, Soulmate jumped the deck. The fact that yesterday’s card was a ‘jumper’ is a strong reminder to stay present, and firmly ensconced in present moments of creativity. The angels acknowledge that there may be some who readers who are feeling ‘twitchy’ and who need to discuss business matters or other serious issues, but they would like to remind these readers to enjoy the moment first (which helps you feel grounded which in turn helps you to tune out the ego’s unproductive ramblings), and approach business or other serious matters afterwards from a more stable,
grounded perspective!

In regards to the card Trust … well, as I’m starting to write, my aromatherapy burner has begun ‘pinging’! It’s making tiny, rapid, noisy bubbles. Why? The glass holding the liquid is getting too hot, causing the aromatherapy solution to start to boil. Simple enough fix – just blow the candle out, taking some of the heat off/out of the situation. How can you ease off the intensity or rather, intense scrutiny in your life and/or creativity-based career situations? Do you even realize that you’re ‘pinging’? (As I’m writing this, I’m getting numbness in my hand similar to carpal tunnel syndrome, a burning in my chest similar to heart burn/digestive upset, and an odd sensation in my hairline that makes me think of a scalp issue (maybe dandruff, or pulling one’s hair out?) – take note, stressed out readers with similar symptoms! These are your ‘pings’!) Your body is asking you to ‘take some of the heat off’ before these symptoms become more serious. As I’m writing, I’m getting an overwhelming sense of pressure, and a feeling of, ‘But you don’t understand – I have to get this done! I must get this finished and make a success of it!’ Yes, alright. But how successful are you when you’re chasing your tail because of stress? Snap out of it! (As I’m writing my upper right arm has begun to suddenly ache.) Can you step back for just a moment and try to reconnect to your original goal, the idea that got you started on that moment of forward movement? Can you reconnect with the spark of enthusiasm/positivity/grace/allowance that made you believe this project/action was possible?

Oi! You drifted into worries and outside distractions. I’ll take a moment to point out all the blue in the Trust card – remind you of yesterday’s card? Remember what the core lesson of yesterday’s card was? That’s right. Stay in the moment. And right now the angels are asking you to spend a moment reconnecting with the core vibrancy and enthusiasm at the heart of your creative project, and to TRUST that you can see it through. One focused step at a time.

The card drawn for Tuesday evening/Wednesday is Soulmate.

Two things really pop out at me straight away – the blue in the card (a very soft, peaceful blue which, incidentally, is lighter on the little girl angel than the boy and the card’s border), and the fact that the little boy angel is dressed like a knight’s squire. What I’m hearing and feeling is that this card’s meaning is so much more than just romance (although there certainly is the sense that a romance writer reading this will ‘click’ with her handsome lead character that may have, until now, been giving some issues. See what happens when you allow him to be the gallant type he’s been trying to tell you he wants to be?). There’s a deep sense of peacefulness in this card, a sense of being not only in the moment, but truly appreciating it for what it is.

Now, as I’m typing I’m getting an annoying tickle along my lower back. Try not to look for things that aren’t necessary or present in the moment. If you’re enjoying having a heart to heart or a really great creative burst with a fellow creative collaborator, then go with it! Perhaps this is not the time to start talking to him about funding or other external/location changes though. Don’t ruin this precious moment. I’m hearing ‘have patience with yourself’. You might automatically ‘dial in’ to the other ‘stuff’ – the business or serious end of things, especially if there’s something that has been concerning you. But you must cultivate the sense of peace that comes from resting in, and expressing your joyous, loving creativity in the moment, at the exclusion of everything else. (Unless the house is on fire, in which case you definitely have permission to be creative at another time! ((The angels say this is definitely a ‘valid exclusion’!)) )
